Well having spent several relaxing days in Paraparaumu on the Kapiti coast it’s time to move on and switch islands. Tuesday will see me traveling to the South Island where I will be heading for Kaikoura.
Home of whale watching and marine life in abundance and I may even decide to take a swim with the dolphins.

Having spent the weekend in the beautiful Kapiti Coast I’m back in windy Wellington for a couple of days before heading back to Kapiti Coast and a visit to Kapiti Island on Thursday.
Still trying to sort out photos from the last few days and hope to being uploading quite a selection in the next day or two.

Well, it’s been a great day out visiting loads of the film locations and culminating at the Weta Cave. Treated myself to a Weta mug. Have lots of pics to post so lookout for them soon.

Well, my first full day has been great. Taken a stroll around Wellington getting to know the place. Going on a Lord of the Rings tour and visit to the Weta Cave on Friday all being well.

Arrived safe and sound. Well what can I say: it’s cold (4 degrees) and it’s great. Snow capped mountains and stunning views.

Well, I think I’m missing a day somewhere. To me yesterday was Sunday but I’m now on Tuesday.
