Well, it’s been a great day out visiting loads of the film locations and culminating at the Weta Cave. Treated myself to a Weta mug. Have lots of pics to post so lookout for them soon.

How exciting! It looks amazing! Very jealous of the view from your hotel. I hope it’s all going well and you’re enjoying yourself. I can’t believe you’re now on the other side of the world. I’m so pleased for you. Would so love to be doing something half as exciting, but I guess I’ve had some ventures and have to be sensible for a bit. Besides the website is coming on a treat (I can’t wait for you to see it!) and teaching possibilities are growing (I hope!) So it’s head down for now. I’ll just have to live off the excitement of your adventures, so keep posting! I can’t wait to see some more pics.

Hi Steve,
So you finally got to do the hobbit trail in real life rather than ‘virtual’. Is the scenery as spetacular in real life as it is in the movie? And more to the point did you see any real elves? Anyhow glad you had a good trip.
It’s 23 degrees today in the garden so it’s a bit different to what you’re getting in NZ.
I’m also suprised to see that you’ve taken an interest in Rugby, is this another new path?
